I am suffering also. Getting a little better. Eating tons of prunes, go for a walk, drink something hot (coffee, tea, hot water ha.). I think I'm going to start hitting the prune juice. Maybe drink it from my favorite wine glass, classy.
Last night I had some dried mango and let's just said it did the trick for real! I just had some dried apricots and they seem to be doing the trick as well. Dried fruit rules!
I swear by apple cider vinegar before bed. It keeps me regular and helps my skin (pre-pregnancy too) Mix 1 oz. with a few oz. water, dash of cinnamon, splash of vanilla, and ice. Yumm, almost like a cocktail!
Coffee works for me. I also have a juicer so I make some extra green juice. Taking colace every day can help prevent that and it is pregnancy safe. It's probably your pnv that is giving you trouble. Feel better!
I have started using Miralax, recommended by my midwife because NOTHING has worked. Prunes, coffee, water, walking, fiber...all fails!...I have tired everything!
So what has helped for me is increasing my daily fiber to 50+ grams and drinking prune juice. Berries (any), sweet potatoes with skins, green beans, apples with skins, whole grain pitas, zucchini, squash, basically fruits and vegetables and whole grains have gotten things moving again for me!
