Pretty much devastated. Our nanny, whom we adore, just told us she's pregnant. We're beyond thrilled for her, but super, crazy bummed. I've only been back at work for 3 months. We may (keyword: may) have some other options to consider, but not much time. Our nanny has some health issues, and her docs want her out by mid/end Oct, so we have some crap to figure out FAST. I hate to rush this age, but getting to that preschool phase would really help us out. ::sigh::
Daycare is still out of the question for this upcoming flu season, and we only need someone two days a week (as my parents cover the other days), so that throws in another layer of complexity in finding someone. Just when I thought we were getting into a routine...
...add on to that the fact that this timing will be *exactly* when we were planning on moving (in town, but still going to be equally chaotic).
Thanks for letting me blow off some steam....
