Waking up for Paci at night.....driving me nuts!

Hi ladies, I'm hoping that someone else may have had this problem and can give me some advice......my 17 week old LO goes to sleep with a pacifier (relies on it or can't go to sleep) he spits it out at night soooo many times and cries out for me to replace it-thus I'm going a little nuts over it! has anyone had this problem and trained their baby to go to bed with it but once it's out it's out? otherwise when I finally move him into his own room, I'll be back and forth all night...... :( TIA

  • I have no advice, only sympathy. My LO is also doing this, but to nurse. I am really hoping this is a phase that will pass.

  • We are going through this right now too, but I think we will unswaddle one hand since he likes his thumb and see if he will replace the paci with his thumb.  My first DS had this problem too and I can't remember what we did, other than not sleep for a really long time, until he figured out how to find it and put it back in himself.
