Formula oz. - 6 months

I know every baby is different, but how many oz. of formula does your 6 month old eat?

    DD is eating 8 ounces a day/4 times with rice cereal in am and a vegetable later. She is still hungry!!

    LO is taking in a little less right now due to teething but normally
    She is at about 4 bottles of 6-8 oz a day, usually averaging 28 hours a day. She might eat a jar to a jar and a half of veg a day so 1-3 oz

    Okay this makes me feel better. Lately my son has been sometimes eating as much as 34-36 oz.!  He does eat 2 oz. of veg in the evening and 1 oz. of oatmeal in the morning.  I was nervous that he was eating way too much!

    Is the 32 oz of formula rule true? I'm going to be freaking about when DD reaches that amount in a day!

    I always hear that too and am not sure!  He used to never go over 32 oz.  but I think he might be going through some type of growth spurt and is waking up at night to feed so we are going over.  I hope he goes back to eating 30 oz. again soon!

    My LO is only 3 months and eats 25-30 oz/day.. What is the 32 oz rule??

    I've read and heard previously that you shouldn't give a baby more than 32 oz of formula a day because it's not good for their kidneys.

    Oh wow, never heard that before, good to know! I may be in trouble then if my LO is only 3 months and already eating 25-30 oz/day!
