  we have used that and aveeno lotion, just keep it dry, thats really all you can do.

  Does your lo sleep on their belly? I was having this same problem with my lo but it only got bad when he started sleeping on his belly. I put one of those white burp rags (cloth diaper) under his sheet and that has really been helping soak up the drool. Also lanolin has helped the redness.

  We use the Aveno Excema therapy lotion. It works WONDERS

  This. No joke...I express a bit of breast milk on a clean fingertip and dab on DD's face when she has scratched herself or has the start of a drool rash. Speedy, natural healing remedy!

  The burp cloth is a great idea! Yes she does sleep on her belly and I never thought about drool at night. And of course breast milk is the cure all, why didnt I think of that? Thanks everyone for all the great suggestions.

  I use hydrocortisone. It was recommended by the pediatrician and works great!

  I use either breastmilk, as recommended earlier or I find that Mother Love Nipple Cream.  It's not just good for mommy's nipples, I used it for cradle cap & all rashes he gets.
