NBR--Vow Renewal Gift?

Some friends are renewing their vows. We are going to their at-home ceremony this weekend. My DH has known the woman renewing her vows since preschool and her family is like family to my DH. She and her husband have always been very generous to us. They did the photography for our wedding and gave us a giant box of hand-me-downs when DD was born. They are the type of people who never show up without a plate of cookies or some other thoughtful hostess gift. I'd really like to do something nice for them, but nothing too over-the-top. They seem to be an "its the thought that counts" type. For more background, they have kids and she's a SAHM, so I was thinking maybe a restaurant gift certificate and an offer to babysit their LOs so they could go out and celebrate. Any other ideas?? Anyone renew their vows and get something that they really loved?

    When I saw the subject line, the first thing that popped into my head was a restaurant gift card.  That, combined with the babysitting offer, would be perfect!

    Thanks for your helpful replies. I'll o with the date night idea but I am totally checking out those adorable plates for another friend's upcoming wedding.
