Sleeping too much?

Our LO is 2 weeks today and it seems the last couple of days she's been sleeping alot after being awake alot in the beginning. So far today she's only been up for about 2 hours. I've had to wake her to feed her every 2 hours then she falls back asleep. Can they sleep too much?

    She sounds normal to me.  They sleep when they need it.

    @kermite I was about to post this same question about our LO. She's almost 4 weeks and today she has been only waking up to nurse and for diaper changes. She's been awake for a max of 45 minutes today. She normally only sleeps about 3-4 hours total during the day. 

    She's already slept over 4 hours and it's not even 5pm. 

    I hope this doesn't mean we're in for a long night. :-/

    It's normal. DD slept constantly with no help until 3 weeks, then still slept alot and needed help. They don't start being more awake until like 3 months
