Found out sex of baby at 12 weeks...anyone else?

Hi girls! I am 12 wks a few days and had our Nuchal Translucency test yesterday. The ultrasound went GREAT. In fact, they were able to tell us we're having a boy!! We're so psyched (now just awaiting the lab results), but I realize it's so super early. Did anyone else find out the gender this early?

I can't figure out how to upload the picture or I would show you. It's quite obvious, the ultrasonographer said she was pretty darn sure.

I found out at my nt scan yesterday...we were shocked when they asked if we wanted to know. The Dr. said he was 95% sure its a boy and showed us how he came up with that conclusion!!! So exciting! I go to my regular OB tomorrow and will ask some more questions to see if they get the same results.

Smile Went for my scan this morning, and baby wasn't quite lying right, but Dr said he's pretty certain it's a girl! He showed us what he saw (and didn't see).

Quite excited as we were both thinking it's a girl, now were a bit more sure! Will confirm at next scan

Congrats! I just had my ultrasound as well, the tech said she didn't usually tell people, and that you can't be positive until week 20, but that she was pretty sure it was a boy. And from what I saw, I think she's right! But at this stage the genitalia have all just developed, so it could be a girl who is just slightly still swollen.. Something I can't stop thinking about, so I'm not taking the assumption to heart until later on at my next ultra sound, when, hopefully, they'll be able to tell me a bit more positively.

I had a 12 week a few days ago, and my doc said he was 90% sure it was a boy. I've got three girls, so a boy would be amazing. I'm just so unsure. At this stage the genitalia looks an awful lot alike. I need to post the pic and get the opinions of others.

The tech thinks it is a girl...but the baby was sleeping and did not want to cooperate so we didn't get a good pic.

We had our Nuchal yesterday and she said she was 95% sure we were having a girl and that she had never been wrong!!! I am sooo excited!

We got a just for fun guess at NT scan of boy, which is what my hunch has been all along. We know it could change, but it's fun to see as we go!

We did the first time around, she was mooning us pretty much the whole time and was able to see straight through her legs!! No such luck this time, can't wait to find out! Congrats to you and all the other 12 weekers!

Had a 12 week scan last week and the nurse looked at me like I was crazy for even asking her to look. lol I guess she didn't want to take an educated guess and be wrong. Looks like we will have to wait for our 20 week ultrasound.

Wow that's great! I'm a new mother this is my first child so I want all the advice I can get. I'm 12 weeks I go back in four weeks will I know the sex of my baby then?

I had my NT test yesterday at 11.5 weeks and the nurse said that sometimes they can make an educated guess but that I was too early to tell. I know that the 3D ultra sounds can tell earlier (a woman at work found out at around 12 weeks) but we weren't able to tell. It's going to be a long wait for my 20 week ultrasound!

Even though we couldn't tell it was really cool to see the baby. The baby was awake and doing it's morning exercises (the nurse couldn't get the baby to sit still).

I was 12 weeks last Friday and had my NT scan done then. I was told that they will be able to determine the sex of the baby through a blood test. I won't know the results for 7-10 business days. The suspense is awful but at least I'll know nearly two months sooner than I thought I would. I can't wait!

I just found out the sex of our baby through a blood test; the verinata test actually. Not only am i glad the results came back negative for t13 t18 and t21 we got the added bonus of finding out we are having a boy!

I had my NT scan today and the tech asked if we wanted to know the sex (my husband does not). So after reading all this I am thinking she had a good guess! They are also sending me to see a specialist because they couldn't get a good read on my baby's head. Has that happened to anyone else?

I have my next ultrasound a week from today, and while I'm excited to hear the sex, I'm skeptical. I tried to reschedule closer to 20 weeks, but our ultrasound tech will be out of the country. I want to know, but I'd hate to start planning and be disappointed later on!

That's so exciting! I just had mine today (12 weeks) and he said he's pretty sure it's going to be a girl since the area was completely smooth, but we'll see! We we're really hoping for a boy, but after hearing the news, it didn't sound so bad! Best wishes!
