  Just call and cancel it, but I'd schedule a follow up with another OB/GYN just to make sure everything is healing up. You have the right to see whoever you want (just need to know what your insurance covers)!

  I go to a practice of 6 doctors.  The one that was on call when I went into labor and then needed a c-section, was the one dr I don't like or trust.  I will reschedule on Monday.

  Same here, after my c/s...they scheduled me with the Dr. who did my c/s. I didn't dislike that Dr. but I preferred another one.   I called this morning.  At first, they refused to change me to a different doctor.  I asked for the office manager and explained my reasoning and she had the lady who schedules the appts reschedule me with MY regular doctor!!! Such a relief!! Thanks everyone!

  i just want to say i'm sorry you had that experience, and i hope you receive better care in the future.
  
  i'm really glad you are able to see a provider you are comfortable with for your post-op visit. the last thing you need right now is to add more stress over that experience. good luck to you!
