Sad day today (death mentioned)

Today is my DD3's birthday.
I am still good friend's with my best friend from kindergarten. We have gone different ways, but are still close, just not best friends. She posted on facebook today that her Papa died. I was extremely close to her mom's parents. My dad sold farm machinery, and they lived in his area. We would always stop, if I was with him. I would go out to the farm with her all the time. We would take their German Sheppard out gopher hunting and spend weekends with them. I to this day still call her grandma, grandma and had called her grandpa, Papa. I would love to go to his funeral, but we have to be home on the 24th, due to school starting and still needing school supplies.
RIP Papa John, you will be missed.
