? about not having + OPKs.

I've never had a positive OPK. There were several times that I could see the gradual darkening and subsequent fading across a few days, and once it was very close to the control line, but never a true positive. While I'm waiting for my referral I was just wondering if there was something I could try in the meantime? Also - could it be because I use internet cheapies (earlypregnancytests.com)? I just have a hard time swallowing a full days wages for a box of sticks to pee on. If you guys think that could be the issue then I'm willing to give 1st response a try.
First comes Love Nov 11,  2003, Then Marriage: Aug. 23, 2006. Baby??? TTC since May 2010. Started seeking additional medical intervention (again) Summer 2013, finally appointment is booked!

Apr 3, 2014 - Consult with OBGYN to get my testing started.
Mar 6, 2014 - Surprise BFP!!!! EDD Nov 9th. Consult with OBGYN changed to prenatal meet and greet!
May 2, 2014 - NT scan perfect! Can't wait to find out what team we're on. 
June 11, 2014 - it's official, we're TEAM PINK!!!

    Have you tried charting your BBT? That would let you know whether or not you are ovulating despite not seeing a + OPK.

    My Blog

    September 2012: Start IF testing

    DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA  Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA

    October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos

    November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues.  Converted to freeze all due to lining issues.  2 blasts frozen on day 6!

    January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues

    April 2015: FET #2.1

    This. Also, how many times per day are you using OPK's? Some women have a really short surge so you may not catch it if you aren't testing twice a day. I would definitely suggest charting paired with OPK's to get the best results.

    I agree with all of this. Testing twice a day helped me with the OPKs since I have a very short surge and when they got darker I would sometimes test 3 times a day. But temping really helped me figure out what was going on with my body.
    Yes, definitely test twice a day if you haven't already. I would also test 3x a day if my OPKs started getting darker.

    Oh yes, I temped for over a year in 2009-2010 and did OPK's 1-3 times a day. Started temping again in the last few months.

    FWIW I find that I get positives only when I test around 2 pm.
