Decorating help: I need some ideas for 1st birthday!

We are doing a jungle them birthday for DS, and I need some ideas on decorations.  I found a table that I would love to do, but it was set up for a girl.  How can I recreate it with a boyish feel?  I found some giraffe print fabric on ebay, but what else can I do?  Any ideas?  I'm bad at decorating for birthday parties and showers!  This is the table:

    Hmm... you could place some small, tropical looking plants on the table for some greenery?

    Maybe a really cool jungle plastic animals like: lions and bears.

    I like the fabric idea with some greanery.  You could add a stuffed monkey and giraffe.  Maybe even some of the paper palm trees that you can wrap around and they become 3-D. 

    If you wanted to you could even get baby blue boa like the pink one on the table if you wanted to.

    I just had DS 1st bday this past wknd and his was MONKEY theme! I got a TERRIFIC buy on monkeys off ebay like $75 for 50 monkeys. I have about 20 leftover after 2 went home w/ each kiddo but I'll donate rest to Toys for Tots this week.  We bought all plates & stuff from orientaltrading.com they are cheap & fast and no problems ever.  I did solid color balloons to match plates, and hung the monkeys from our trees down the driveway, put luau type table skirts outside w/ food, and did cupcakes in solid colors & added Curious George cupcake rings to the top that I bought off ebay. Everyone had a blast, big & lil kids! HTH :)
