Shots and sleep

I scrolled back but can't find all the posts on 6 mo shots so here is my question. Our appt was Friday and DS had his shots. He has never had a reaction like a fever or anything , maybe just a little more sleepy but not even bad or cranky. The last 2 nights he has pooped at like 2am-- this hasnt happened in prob 4 mos. then I change him and it takes 1.5 hrs to get him back to sleep and I've had to give him a bottle
Both times. It stinks bc we were just getting over 4 mo wakeful and he slept thru the night again for a week so I thought we were clear . Do you think the poop / no sleep are related to the shots from fri? Or have we just regressed again ! So sleepy ...

    I think it's a possibility that it's from the shots. I know at 2 months, DS got diarrhea from the rotovirus vax and even when it cleared up his poop timing was all off. I'm sure things will regulate (pun intended) in a few days. :-)

    My DD did the same thing. Woke up in the middle of the night cause she had pooped. She hasn't done that in months. But she didn't have a hard time going back to sleep. She nursed and fell asleep reasonably fast. She seemed extra sleepy on the day when she had her shots.
