CD's in storage - should I be worried?

My CD's have been in a storage unit for the past 2 years in Texas (non-climate controlled).  I've pretty sure they are sealed in a rubbermade tub, however I'm starting to wonder if the heat from the summers has caused problems.  They are probably about 90% BG 3.0s, with a Blueberry Minky and mabye 2-3 other random ones in there.  Thoughts?

If they are ruined I seriously think I'm going to cry...

  • I've always read that airflow storage like a cardboard box, NOT a sealed plastic bag or tub, is beat for the dipes so they can breathe. I'm not sure about the nonclimate control. I know extreme heat from the sun/dryer ruins the elastic and PUL over time :-/

  • Unless there are visible cracks in the PUL, you probably won't know there's a problem until you try them. FX that your diapers are still in good shape. At the very worst, you'll get to experience the joy of buying a new stash!
