It could be an option since I'll need an RCS! My husbands bday is March 27, so we already call it birth week. I think I'd rather let baby have his/her own special day, but it would be a fun bond to share, too!

When my mom told everyone she had me, they thought it was a late April fools joke! And also, since she had been wearing a big parka all winter, some people around town didn't even know she was expecting!
Another thing about my birthday, is a nasty ex once cheated on me with a girl who had the exact same bday! I was pissed!

I love having an April birthday. Would much rather have April than a winter or summer month.
I would definitely share my bday with my baby. Would be the best bday present in the world! However, my mom and I have bdays that are two weeks apart and so our bday celebrations usually last two weeks. That has always been fun!

My family already has a few April Bdays back to back to back so it kinda takes away from the uniqueness (Again, I feel like terrible person admitting this. We are super thrilled and excited about this baby so I couldnt care less about the month)

I'm actually hoping we don't share a birthday because my twin nephews were born on April 12th last year and that's too many April 12ths in one family!
Funny Story: It's not really funny but my husband's birthday is April 22. We're going to be a whole family of April birthdays!!

Do you love or hate having an April birthday?: It's ok. The weather is usually decent. It's hit or miss in NC with whether or not everything is yellow from the pine tree pollen. I love sports and the only thing really going on at that time is baseball. So usually we go to an NC State game or the Durham Bulls to celebrate. I do love having a diamond as a birthstone.

Share an interesting story about being an April baby, if you have one!: I was born Easter Monday. My mom got sick on the way to the hospital wearing a white Easter Coat she borrowed from a friend. Not really interesting, but that's all I got!

I would prefer not to share a birthday, just because I am sure my kid would hate to have the same birthday as their mom!
Its not my birthday in April but we have serveral women in our families with an April Birthday:
Both our moms, a grandma, 2 aunts, a cousin, and my bestfriend (like family)
Maybe this means we'll have another special lady with an april birthday!

I love it, though I loved it more growing up in Italy. April 22nd is full on spring there, not like here in Boston where the tulips are barely poking out of the ground. My mom's birthday was also in April (the 16th), so it's been my favorite month forever.
I really wouldn't mind, but the kid might.

so funny story, I was going to wait to try to conceive until September so that we would have almost no chance of an April baby because my DH had made some comment while we were dating about having to share his birthday (read birth MONTH because men are silly) with his nephews. As it happens, my dad is also an April birthday. Well, we had an unexpected chemical that ended in July. After that I did some praying and my message arrived through a yoga class of all things that I had never been to. The first thing the instructor said was to choose a mantra to breathe with. One of her suggestions was "let....go". Apparently I needed to stop trying to control everything and have a little faith. So I went home and talked to my DH about whether he wanted to wait or not. I, of course internalized this whole "sharing of the birth month" as a big deal for him....he didn't even remember saying it! So we decided to give it a shot and got preggers on the first cycle! Now he might actually have to share the exact date with our baby lol. That will make 5 April birthdays for our family!

I was apparently born during a flash flood, but my parents were able to make it to the hospital okay. My poor mom must have been a wreck!
