Cloth Diapering

Need wet bag recs

At our old daycare, we just used a small step trash can, but our new daycare prefers a wet bag.

I need something that'll fit 5-6 diapers and is relatively inexpensive since I'll need 2-3 of them. Any recommendations?

Re: Need wet bag recs

  • I use the alva wetbag's. They're $5.56 USD a piece, and have a poly liner so they're easy to clean. I can usually fit about 5-7 diapers in it depending on how many inserts are in each diaper.

  • I've only used the planet wise wet bags. Though I LOVE them (have both the medium wet bag and medium wet/dry zipper bag) and they fit about 5-6 dipes...they're not the cheapest

  • I agree with the recommendation for Alva bags...super cheap an fit plenty of diapers! I have 5...one did randomly come delaminated, but she replaced it, and I actually still use the delaminated one, as well, since it still works just fine!

  • I use the bummis fabulous wet bag.  It is, well, fabulous.  It's a little more expensive than the alva one, but it lasts really well, it holds at least 7 diapers, if not 10 (we use freetimes and/or best bottoms) and it contains the smell really well.  And they dry really quickly.  I have another brand of wet bag that has a liner on the inside, and the liner drives me insane because it comes out of the bag and is a pain to get back in, and it takes forever to dry.

  • I have 3 planetwise wetbag and love them! My medium goes with DS to DC everyday and can normally hold 5 but I could easily squeeze 6. The large is almost to big for DC so I seldom need it. I also have the XL hanging bag which is our CD laundry bag between washes. We are going on over a year and a half and they still look new. My advice get the PW medium :)

  • Rumparuz med size. Perfect size with s zipper and ability to hang easily.
  • I love PlanetWise.  I think our daycare bag is a large.  We rotate every other day between two.
