  DH won't touch DD's private area. When changing her the wipe is a buffer, when bathing her the washcloth is a buffer, but he won't touch it directly (to apply diaper cream, etc).
  
  Im sure he'll get over it eventually, but he isn't there yet.

  We went on a little day trip a few weeks ago and H dressed LO in his favorite of her onsies. All day I kept thinking that there was something wrong with her diaper because it was showing a lot in the front. As we were almost ready to leave, after a thousand photo opportunities, I realize that he had put the onsie on backwards and that was why "her undies were showing" so much. We had a "the bow goes in the front" lesson after that.

  The only one I can think of is when MH took our LO out for a walk with the dog and a fellow dog walker asked him if the baby was his grand baby. Yikes! Thankfully he saw the funny side of it!

  DH hates dressing DS.  If I'm like, can you change his onesie, he'll be all hesitant like, oh, ok...and it takes him 10  minutes to get it on DS because he's afraid he's hurting him.  I was like that at first, now I got diaper and fresh onesie on in less than a minute!

  I always ask DH to cover LOs penis when changing him so he doesn't pee everywhere. My husband always replies that his little dude wouldn't do that. I walked in one day with DH drying himself off. I asked when he'll learn and his response was "today". I was a little happy it happened.

  When LO was only a couple weeks old, he was changing her diaper when she started pooping. A little bit (seriously, not that much) of poop squirted on his arm and he ran out of the room hollering. I laughed my head off and finished the job for him.

  I wish I was a fly on the wall when DH is alone with MJ every morning before daycare (I leave the house at 6am).
  
  I came down from a shower this weekend to DH finishing changing him, and walked in on him making the diaper genie "talk" (by using the foot pedal):
  
  "YUM YUM!  I WILL EAT YOUR DIAPEY"
  "YUM YUM YUM POOPEY"

  MH screamed like there was a spider on his arm after LO's bath when he was drying him off. I came running in saying "what happened?" He said "he just peed all over." He had jumped away from the table instead of covering it up. I said "wait til he poops on you."

  H is colour blind and can't tell the difference between pink and grey. Or green and brown. The outfits he chooses for DD are a hot mess but to see this big rugged Australian dressing LO and calling her his pretty pink princess when she's wearing grey melts my heart so I don't tell him.

  His first night alone with Abbie while I had a work function I had left him a detailed list of her schedule and routines. She should have taken 2 bottles while I was gone, had a bath, read a book and been put down in her bassinet. I came home to literally every surface in our living area covered in bottles - some full some partially full (like 8 bottles), the infant tub filled, the jammies I set out tossed on the ground and a sticky naked baby sprawled out next to my husband in bed. When. I asked him the next morning what happened he said she wasn't hungry and didn't want to give her an old bottle and she peed on him when he was getting ready to give her a bath and he gave up on the jammies because they were "too hard to put on". When asked about the schedule he said "schedules are for babies". Exactly.

  I went to my friends house and left the LO at home with him. He knew she didn't poop and had to eat. As he was feeding her she pooped but it was enough for him to have to change her. He went over to change her and she wasn't finished and he got it all over himself when she farted. (Gross I know) and he then finished feeding her, went to burp her and she spit up all over him. I never received so many phone calls asking me when I was coming home. He was def batting a thousand that day.
