DH pretends he's pregnant too...

I'm not one for junk food and such and DH always has to deal with my judgemental glares when he goes back for a third helping of chips. Since being married, he's lost like 10 pounds while I've gained 20, go figure. Anyway, he was miserably sick this weekend so I caved and bought him ice cream. Today I've hardly been able to LOOK at food, but ice cream sounded ok, so we watched "The Business of Being Born" (omg HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and ate ice cream. I gave him a look and commented on how much he was enjoying being pregnant "with" me and he grinned.

Anyone else got a SO that joyfully joins in on the eating parties? What's your favorite food to enjoy together these days? (TOGETHER- as in with them, which means pickles and jelly doesn't count... Unless your SO has weird eating habits) :)

Re: DH pretends he's pregnant too...

  • Mine's such a downer and started a life style change (aka diet) "for the baby"  He's lost 15 lbs in like 2.5 weeks....men. I'm actually proud of him.  So for the first time ever we're eating healthy together :)

  • My last pregnancy DH had all the cravings and food aversions, and I didnt have that many, just morning sickness.  I'd even go on food runs for him late at night!  It's already started this time around, only a week into us knowing.  Its so silly.

  • This is so funny. My husband is insistent that he doesn't want to turn into a fat dad and has been working out like crazy. He's 6'4 and in the army and already tends to scare people because of his size. I find it all rather amusing.
