You know I have trouble remembering, I loved Torrin a long time ago. Helix was supposed to be his middle name. Haidee for girl. Though I don't think we will use that. I wanted Adelheid a looonnngg time ago and now it is so popular.
Elim or Benjamin. We had a hard time agreeing on a boy's name. So we are in trouble if we have more boys. I really like the name Lydia Annetta for a girl, but H doesn't like it. We are keeping our agreed upon girl's name a secret in case we have a girl someday.

we never could agree on a girl's name so we waited until the AS, found out we were having a boy, and didn't have to worry about it. we knew DS's name about 2 weeks into pregnancy. i had thrown out several names but DH shot them all down - Donovan is the only one i remember now.
DD #1 Would have been Alexandra (which is DD#2's name) or Colin if she were a he DD #2 Would have been Elizabeth or Genevieve or Benjamin or William is she were a he.
We had THE HARDEST time with boy names. There is a good chance that had DD #2 been a boy, we would not have agreed on a name prior to taking the baby home.
DD#1 would have been Rachel Mary but I changed my mind at the last minute. I can't remember what our boy name was. We didn't use Rachel for DD#2, although do sort of wish we had because her name is the most common of all of our kids. She would have been Cohen if she was a boy, which we used for DS#1. He would have been Vivienne or Lydia. DS#2 might have been Rachel.
It would've been Clint or Wade...DS's middle name is a family middle name so that would've stayed the same. We didn't have any girls names figured out before our A/S.

I love your name choices! I have a William and Alexandra is our choice for a girl if we ever have a third. Alexander for a third boy. #2 is Nathan and that was DH's choice.

I wanted Maren, but DH did not. So it's now her middle name. If we have another girl, I want her name to be Gemma (sounds like henna in Spanish). It's a classic Spanish name, but it goes well with DH's impossible German name.
Ds1- would have been Carter or Devlan if I had my way. Glad DH threw them out. They aren't my style anymore.
DD- Our girl name was the same from when I was pg with Ds1. I also tossed around her middle name as a first instead. She would have been James Joseph (or JJ) if a boy.
Ds2 - We had a hard time coming up with something we liked and scraped JJ. I considered his middle name as a first as well. He would have been Ella, if a girl.
Baby #4- Will be Rhys if a boy. We have no idea for a girl. I liked Vivienne for awhile and Caroline too but they aren't sitting right.
We eliminated all names of family members, but the girl names I really liked were Alice, Sarah, Cassandra, and Lacey (all family members). I love her name but if we have another, especially a boy, I'll get rid of the family member rule because my favorite boy names are family members (Edward, Theodore, Michael).

Thank you! Nathan was on my short list for boys as well! Too funny! I would say we have similar taste in names for sure. Alexandra is a family name and was originally going to be DD #1's name (she is Madeline), but she just didn't feel like an Alexandra. I think we are done at 2 and I am a little sad to not be able to use some of those names!
Very interesting to see how many almost-Carolines there are! The SSA claims it's #80 but now that we chose it I'm hearing it all the time.
We didn't have any strong second-place contenders for the boys, but the night before the c-section we were literally flipping a coin between Caroline Anna and Jillian Claire.
With Owen, we went with each of our 2nd choice. I wanted Connor and he wanted Parker. With Mia, the 2nd choice was Juliette and that became her middle name.
Re: Baby names...
With DS, we really didn't even have a second choice, we had a hard enough time picking one.
DD (5 years old) from IUI in 2012

It's been our second runner up twice in a row now..if the 3rd one is a girl hopefully we'll use it.
We never did have an agreed upon boy name...just a list of like 5. If this one is a boy I'm in trouble.
