Unbelievable! Warning- disturbing content

Saw this on FB today, then saw an article about it. I can't even believe there is a person who would think these things, let alone write them down and leave for someone to read about their loved one. Disgusting!

Yeah- I just added a warning to the post, thanks for making me think to do so, should have thought of that. I was just outraged when I read it and it made me think of all the sweet autistic residents I used to take care of and their wonderful parents. Sad that people like this exist.

I have no words. If I ever found out who wrote me that letter I would punch them in the face. It wouldn't solve anything, but I'd feel a helluva lot better.

It actually almost looks like a kid wrote it. Maybe a teenager? Or maybe I'm just that naive sometimes or HOPEFUL that an adult wouldn't write something like this.

I feel sorry for the children being raised by this horrible person. Teaching a child empathy and compassion is so important. I highly doubt it's on this psycho's to do list. Ug! Makes me so angry and sad at the same time!

Saw it on Gawker yesterday... It's sick & disgusting. Beyond words, quite frankly.

Only positive is that the woman who received it reported it to police and now it's out there, so others can be aware that terrible people like the letter writer exist. I sure hope they figure out who wrote it and lock her up.

I didn't read it, but DH told me about it last night. Honestly, I don't believe that it's real. Did they find the person that wrote it? Like the pp suggested it, maybe a teenage wrote it?

This occurred about an hour from where I live. I work with children who have disabilities and reading this made me feel sick to my stomach. I am disgusted and appalled that someone is capable of writing such cruel and hurtful things. All I can say is that lady better hope her name doesn't get out, because some people may not be able to hold their tongues in return.

I'm currently in school for social work and this is an example of some of the type of people I could be working with. The disturbed mind has always intrigued me (as far as how it works and how people become who they are) but now that I'm pregnant this makes me angry. Hoping I go back to normal otherwise what a waste of money.

Someone posted the actual letter on FB this morning. It is unbelievable. The sad thing is, there are people who really think this way.

Not shockingly, the letter was also riddled with multiple exclamation points and grammar errors. I'm betting it wasn't a kid, sadly, but a real live adult who's just that self-involved and oblivious.

Oh, also... not as terrible a situation, but I should mention that a good friend of mine, who has a school-aged child on the autism spectrum, received an anonymous letter in her mailbox about her son. It wasn't quite as crazycakes as this one, but it did say some of the same (milder) stuff -- that her son was a hinderance to other "normal children" in his school and that she should take him out. She also reported it to the police. So, yeah, this stuff happens. It's beyond sad.
