Where does your baby sleep? In a nursery? In your room? In a crib? Bassinet? RNP? PNP? Cosleep?
DD is 8.5 months and slept in a RNP in our bedroom until 3.5 months while I was on maternity leave. We then transitioned her to her room and crib which was fairly smooth process. However she would wake up DH since he's such a light sleeper and he had to wake early for work.
Reason I'm asking...baby #2 is coming next April. I'm wondering if I should start them off in their crib in nursery from the start. Rather than having to deal with room transition and waking DH.
Anyone else actually start the baby off in the crib? Seems like no one does anymore!

now he sleeps in a PnP near the foot of the bed at night, and has taken naps in his crib since I got the nursery together (he was around 8 weeks).
my DH also gets up really early for work, and I try not to wake him at night for anything- he is a really, really sound sleeper though. can your DH wear earplugs if the baby would wake him up before you can quiet him/her?
if you really would rather start LO off in his/her own room, I don't think there's anything wrong with that- this just worked better for us. TBH, the reason my LO is still in our room is because we haven't ordered a baby monitor yet and i can't hear him when he's in his room. i can't wait!
