AW DIY Wireless Router Fix

Our Internet had been out all day which was infuriating. I called the cable company thinking it was an issue on their end and everything was responding fine for them. I was freaking cause they said we probably need a new wireless router. we just replaced our video monitor and I really didn't want to spend anymore money. My dad is a network engineer so I called him for help, but he wasn't available. I Googled the issue, followed the steps and fixed the router myself! I even enabled security and changed the network name from the name I had put in 6 years ago.


Feeling accomplished and smart now!
