Gagging, choking...anyone anyone else's LO?

My LO will all of a sudden sort gagging and making choking sounds. I can hear her gasping air and then after her breathing sounds wet, like she has swallowed water in her lungs, or nose. This may happen a few times a day. In the hospital the nurses just said it was her clearing the mucus she swallowed as she was being born, but she is now three weeks old. I have a midwife appointment this week an will ask but wonder if anyone know what is going on. Thanks in advance for your advice.

    DS does this while eating! Drives me crazy because it sounds so scary. I plan to bring it up at 2 month appointment.

    Yes!! It worries me so much because she looks like she is dry heaving! I will definitely be bringing it up at our 2 month appointment

    Its part of reflux. My lo still does it at 2 mths. I hate it.

    mine does it, and he's 10 weeks tomorrow. we always manage to get it clear, so I don't worry about it. He'll get the hang of it before too much longer!
