Hi all. I've been active on TB for awhile now, but I guess it's time I move over to this board.

Here's my story...

I have a daughter who will be 2 in October, and feel so incredibly lucky to have her. We conceived her after about five months, no real problem.

We became pregnant again back in November, but discovered a MMC at 8 weeks after hearing a beautiful heartbeat at 6.5 weeks. I had a D&C in December. After months of TTC, I was referred to the OBGYN in my practice who specializes in infertility. After 2 unsuccessful Clomid cycles (one with a trigger shot), we switched to an RE. He determined that I am hypothalamic, and we opted to try Femara with a trigger. However, I just got my AMH bloodwork back yesterday and it's only 0.27 (I just turned 30). I am absolutely shocked and devastated, and have been an emotional wreck since I got the call.

I have an ultrasound on Monday to
check on how things are progressing with my current cycle, and I'm supposed to sit down with the doctor then. I'm assuming we'll proceed with our current plan for this cycle, and do something different next cycle (I'm assuming injectables).

TIA for letting me join you. As I'm sure most of you feel, I can't believe we're here.
BFP#1 1/31/11 ~ CK came on her due date, 10/10/11!
BFP#2 11/20/12, EDD 7/30/13 ~ heard heartbeat at 6w2d ~ mmc discovered at 8w
1st medicated cycle ~ 6/11/13 ~ Clomid ~ BFN
2nd medicated cycle ~ 7/12/13 ~ Clomid and trigger shot ~ BFN
SHG on 8/13/13 ~ uterus looked good!
Diagnosed with DOR on 8/16/13 ~ AMH 0.27 ~ repeat AMH 0.19
3rd medicated cycle ~ 8/9/13 ~ Femara and trigger shot ~ BFN
4th medicated cycle ~ 9/4/13 ~ Bravelle, trigger shot, IUI ~ BFP! ~ EDD: 6/11/14 ~ heartbeat of 118 at 6w3d ~ mmc discovered at 9w1d

    Wow! Sorry for news, but welcome. You will find a lot of great ladies here who are in the same boat with different reasons, but all with great advice and when needed (and it is needed a lot!) humour!!! My daughter will be two at end of September! She came early, was supposed to be an October baby :)
    January 2007- Stop BCP! Let's DO this!

    January 2011- BFP FET! TWINS!     February 2011- lost twin. BS. image

    SEPTEMBER 2011- DD Born! Most awesome girl in the world!
    November 2013- FAILED FET! BS! (screw you November FETs)
    April Fresh Cycle, FAILED. Frozen embryos frozen for future FETs.
    FROZEN CYCLE JUNE! BFP

    hey, lurking here and saw this post. I already gave you some of my info, and I know the initial diagnosis is a huge blow, but I feel very positive for you.

     

    I really think an AFC will give you a ton more info. Sending you lots of positive energy for tomorrow!

    Hi Peelester!!  You already know me, but welcome!! We can be buddies on both boards! :D


    BFP #1 ended in MMC. Discovered Oct 2005 @10w5d, baby stopped growing around 6w. D&C.
    BFP#2 Nov 2005. Baby's heart stopped @ 8w3d. D&C Jan 2006. Trisomy 18
    BFP#3 Nov 2006. My "miracle baby" DD born 7/25/07
    BFP #4 11/6/12. EDD 7/16/13~my birthday! No sac found @ 5w1d, betas not increasing. Natural m/c started 11/20/12.

    BFP#5 11/9/13.  EDD 7/21/14  Our beautiful rainbow born on his due date!!
