I took my last BC pill today. As I tossed it back I felt a bit nervous. It's just crazy to think that in a few weeks, I have the possibility of becoming a mom. I have had cycle issues my whole life so the chance is probably even slimmer than normal, but still... There's a chance. It was only a few moments later that I had a moment that confirmed that I am ready for the challenge of children, whenever it may come. One of my cats has the personality of a seven year old tomboy. She loves to tussle and start trouble. She ran up to me and began head-butting my hand. I let her do it a few times, but the third time, she ran face first into my wrist. She pulled her head back and showed visible signs of pain. Immeidately she darted under the table. I sat on the floor to console her and she eventually came out. I checked her face, gave her a kiss and reassured her that she was fine. I felt like a mom handling a real boo-boo, and it all just came naturally. Furbabies sometimes are the ultimate training for real babies! I just had to share.... Thanks for listening.
