Success after IF

Hi! Happy Monday. Primal allows some dairy right? Do you eat yogurt? What kind?
E did well with our dairy trials over vacation but will have no part of drinking milk. We tried cows milk and almond milk, she threw the cups at us. Thought I'd try yogurt, but having a hard time choosing.

  • Hi! Happy Monday to you too. Yes, Primal allows full fat dairy in moderation. We drink whole milk and eat full fat yogurt and cheese, and Grayson does too. I am so happy that E did well with her mac and cheese :) For yogurt, my favorite are these Trader Joe's (4 oz.) They are full fat and the perfect size for the littles. They come in Vanilla & Cream, Strawberries & Cream, Blueberries & Cream and Bananas & Cream. He loves them. Do have TJ's by you?

For the milk, have you tried a straw sippy cup? G would use the others ones, but he drinks the best out of the straw ones. It does take time though. The first few days were difficult and I bought every kind of sippy cup. I like these straw ones and the Explora Trainer Cup too: https://www.tommeetippee.us/product/truly-spill-proof-straw-cup

  • Thanks! I don't have a TJ near me, but I could get to one on a weekend.
I haven't tried a straw cup. She drinks out of my straw though, so that's a good idea!
I never knew I would worry so much about what my kid eats. Paleo has really taught me to pay attention to what's in my food, and has me all eked out over additives and junk!

  • Good luck! I know exactly what you mean. Feeding can be a huge source of anxiety for me, but it's getting better as I get used to it.
