Overnight Diapers

DS finally sleeps through the night sometimes, but many mornings he'll wake up with a wet diaper, wet clothes, and wet sheets! We use Pampers, but it seems like after 6+ hours, it just can't contain all the pee. I thought overnight diapers were kind of a gimmick, but does anyone have good recommendations?

Also...changing the sheets is a PITA due to the way our crib bumpers are. So maybe it is a FFF(M)C that I use crib bumpers and I sometimes just try to spot-treat the mess instead of changing the sheets every day.

Re: Overnight Diapers

  • We had the same problem until we switched to Huggies overnight diapers in a size bigger than she normally wears. We haven't had a leak since.

  • We use the Pampers Baby Dry as well. Only one or two leaks in all these months.
  • I haven't had a leak with DS.
He doesn't STTN, but he doesn't get a diaper change either. Fresh diaper between 7-8pm, play, BF, bed around 9. Up once or twice, then up for the day between 7-8am and diaper gets changed then.
I use Pampers Baby Dry. He wears size 3 and is around 17 lbs.

I had problems a few times with, what I consider, defective diapers when DD was a baby. I got a case where the leg elastic didn't stay tight and EVERY morning her pjs would be wet on that side.

Neither kid has ever overflowed a diaper while STTN.

Pampers and Huggies both make overnight absorbency diapers. I'd try that, or a larger size of your current brand. GL.
