We are going on a carnival cruise when LO will be about 8 months old anyone have any advice? This is a Christmas gift to our family and I want to make the most out of it!
We are looking into a cruise too for the holidays. We have done a couple cruises over Christmas and always enjoyed it. I'm not sure if I want to spend the money to bring M on board when he won't be eating a lot of food, can't get in the pools, etc. I'm interested to hear what others have to say, because our back up plan might be flying to Hawaii (which doesn't sound too terrible at all)!
My family is going on a cruise in May. It's a 7 night cruise and we're not comfortable taking her away for so long. Unfortunately it looks like we'll be sitting this one out
3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)
IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets
Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13
We went on a cruise when dd1 was 9 mo old. We did excursions that a stroller was allowed on. Used the carrier a lot!! Make sure you take your own detergent and rolls of quarters, I don't remember how many blow outs we had at dinner time. Take lots of wipes and diapers. We had a last day blow out and ran out if wipes, we had to she'll out 7 buck each for a diaper kit that they sold. Besides that we had a awesome time, dd1 would sleep through the shows at night. And she loved the music when she was awake. We couldn't afford the babysitter they offered at the time. But we were carnival. I hear royal Caribbean has playskool toys you can borrow, and Disney has a DC service ( no experience on the last 2). We danced with her and left her in the stroller when she slept.
Boppy pillow was a lifesaver at dinner... We also had the family room which came with the standard bathroom but also had a second bathroom with just a bathtub n sink.
