My mom and my sister, and my nephew (who is 14 months old) flew in from Chicago on Wednesday and stayed until Sunday evening. It was awesome and horrible at the same time. Awesome because I love all of them, and we got to celebrate DS's bday, and have fun. Horrible because my mom came down with pneumonia, then my sister got the stomach flu. My sister was puking her guts out all night the night before they had to leave. So, her and my mom were both out of commission all day Sunday, leaving me to take care of three kids under the age of three. It was crazy. Also, I am terrified that I am going to catch what they had. I've scrubbed, laundered and disinfected my house as much as I can, but still. I JUST had the stomach flu a week a go, and I DO NOT want it again.
In other news, my baby is ONE today! I am in the process of making him a dairy free cake right now. I can't believe how fast this year has gone!
Here is him, then and now!
