  We were going to get an adoption-specific one, but a friend got me the Humble Bumbles Baby Journal. Other than having a page for a u/s picture, it's applicable to any child IMO.

  We adopted DD through DA as a newborn, too, and we have My Family, My Journey.  I like it for a few reasons -- it includes the Story of Your Adoption, People Who Help Us Find You, Waiting, The Match, etc. We also receieved one from Hallmark at my work baby shower - it's called My Tiny Tale and has a pink giraffe on the cover.  You can kind of see it at this link:

  I like it because it has room for writing and for pictures.  It includes pages about My Nursery, My Big Firsts, A Few of My Favorite Things, and there are 2 big pockets in the back for cards or keepsakes.

  I normally don't post here, but I was lurking and thought I'd recommend my baby book. I like it because I change it to fit my daughter, and I remembered that they had adoption pages.

  If you are adopting an infant, I think any baby book would likely do. My kids have complicated family histories, so we are opting to do life books for them instead, recounting their whole stories from birth onward.
