Hi ladies,

I'm sorry this took me so long to put up.  I had an interview this morning. which wasn't worth it and it took me longer to get in than I thought, anyway..  How was everyone's weekend?  Good I hope.  This weekend I managed to get to the gym on Saturday and did my normal routine and went out to lunch after and because I was feeling good I got the Cob Salad without avacado (Don't like) and blue cheese (also don't like).  I didn't point at all this week or weekend so I I'm up 1lb.  

Sunday we were supposed to go to a fair, but my husband decided to be a butthole and said he found a car show and was going to that instead.  Needless to say my sil and I and were PISSED.  She salvaged the day though and she and I and our lo's went blueberry picking.  SO MUCH FUN.  In a couple of weeks were going to go peach and apple picking.

How did everyone's weekends go?  

I didn't have a chance to put in my favorite work-out songs.

  • My weekend was filled with lots of eating out and calories. I'm going grocery shopping today so hopefully I can stock up on some healthy snacks. I did do a 45 minute workout today when I usually only do 30 so I feel good about that.

  • This weekend was great. I got to eat whatever I wanted and didn't have to worry about logging runs since Sunday was my first "race". It was only a 5k (3.1 miles) but my goal was to do it in 45 minutes and I crossed the finish line (at 3.15 miles) in 35:59 minutes!!! We celebrated by going out for breakfast where I enjoyed egg benedict AND a big pancake  <:-P

    I get to take today off from 'training' but am really looking forward to starting again tomorrow to get ready for my next 'race'

  • As of Friday I had lost another pound, but I splurged yesterday and am now still where I was last week, still, it's weight lost. I had my normal breakfast today and i am now having a lean cuisine which will be shared with DD, I am also going to have a cookie bar since I made those for a bday treat. I got groceries Saturday and loaded up on healthy stuff, so I am hoping this week goes well. We are going out this weekend for my bday and I am going to eat whatever I want!

  • Saturday DH and I had decided we were going to have fun- meaning we were going to take DD with us and do whatever we want, eat whatever we want, and not be on anyone else's schedule...so we had a big unhealthy breakfast and then spend 5.5 hrs walking around a theme park (DH rode a couple of things, but I mostly just kept DD company). Then we went to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner and DD threw a fit the entire meal (she was sleepy and just would not go to sleep..but it wasn't the kind of food you can really take to go, plus we had a 1+ hr drive home) so DH and I had to take turns eating...it was good, but we'll have to go back some time when DD isn't with us. Sunday we had a pot luck at church for lunch so I didn't have the option to eat well, and then for dinner we went for endless shrimp at Red Lobster..I did ok there..stuck to mostly grilled and didn't have dessert (DD was sleepy so by the end of the meal I was just trying to get out of there). Didn't make it to the gym last week except Thurs and it doesn't look likely I'll make it much this week (busy week) but I've got to get some running in somewhere so I'll have to figure something out.
