Trouble TTC

IUI finally scheduled-update

We had our IUI #2 yesterday.  As many of you know I finally had a good response to my follistem injections.  Well the doctor warned us that my husbands counts were a little low and they were concerned.  His motility was great at 100%, but his counts were down to 44 mil.  Our doctor seemed concerned about this and said if they stay this low we may need to consider a more aggressive therapy.  My husband seems to think that maybe it was because he wasn't as "in to it" as normal.  He says Sunday morning at 8:30 isn't exactly the sexiest time of day lol.
My question is has anyone had to deal with this, and what are some options for improving his count?  I have looked it up and losing weight, eating high protein low fat foods, and getting exercise can all help.  I am however looking for maybe supplements or something people may be aware of in addition to the health changes.  I still have hope that this cycle worked, just not as much as I did before we received this news.  Thanks in advance ladies!
Ba hahahaha!

Re: IUI finally scheduled-update

  • was the 44mil pre. or post wash? Because post wash that is an excellent number. If. that was pre wash, the sups my hubs is onis 200mg CoQ10 a day and Fertility Blend for men. They have helped his numbers go up a bit.

  • Hmmm I am not sure if that was pre or post wash.  I didnt think about asking that.  I assumed it was post because that is the number that was on the form I had to initial stating that yes this was the correct sample blah blah blah.  Wow, you know what I am making a big typo mistake.  4.4 million was the number.  Wow, that makes a big difference.  Thanks, i'll look into those.  Maybe GNC has them?
