Samuel Irvin was burn this morning at 3:06 am via c section.
We went in at 6 am to move things along past the contractions I've had forever and the 5 cm I was sitting at for a week. I sat at 5-6 cm forever. I decided to get the epi to speed things along. (Sounds crazy, but always worked in the past.) we discovered that his head was sunny side up and crooked.
Long story short, we literally exhausted everything. They tried manually moving him and changing my position 1000 times. He was very stuck.
So, at 3:06 am, little 8 lb 11 oz Sam came into the world! The c section is much harder than a vag delivery. I have respect for you c section ladies!
He has loads of beautiful black hair and looks a lot like big brother Jack.

Thank you! Irvin was my great grandfather and Sam was one of his 8 brothers. He was well respected and a great business man. I'm happy to pass his name along.

Congratulations! He is adorable and oh my all that hair! Reminds me if my little guy! Did you have heartburn? I did!
If you don't have them already, get some granny panties that pull up over the incision! I actually found my husbands boxer briefs went up way higher than the scar and were the most comfy.
