So Madeline has a cold and woke up with a little fever this morning. She needed help the past two nights sleeping so we went back to rocking and nursing almost every 2 hours. I can deal with being tired, but I worry because we did mild sleep training about a month ago. However, my instincts tell me that getting her to sleep is the most important thing right now- self-soothing be damned. I'm nervous that I'm sending her mixed messages and that's not fair. For example, she just woke up mid-nap from coughing. As soon as I picked her up and bounced and swayed with her, she fell back to sleep. Am I setting us up to have to sleep train again? Once was enough
