DH Finally remembered

We have been trying to come up with a girls name since we are team green.  Boys name is set but I was anxious to get the girls name decided on.  I keep a list on my phone.  Add to it almost daily, and DH is constantly shooting them down.  Can't get him to agree to anything.  So about 4 weeks ago he tells me that he thought of an "A" name while he was driving to work, but forgot what it was!  I wanted to shoot him!  I told him to text me next time before he forgot!  Well finally, yesterday, he remembered his A name!!  He didn't want to tell me at first because he wasn't 100% sold on it, and I told him I've handled "name disappointment" before when he shoots down every name I like!  I finally guessed it and it's Ashley!  At least it's a name I like!  So I think we are leaning towards Ashley Eleanor or Ashley Louise if this Lil Bit is a girl!  Eleanor Louise is my grandmothers name, we're just trying to decide which one we like better.  Which one rolls off the tongue better???  :o)

    I like Ashley Eleanor. One of my Aunts is named Eleanor and it's a favorite name of mine.

    It's a favorite of mine as well!  If I didn't have a niece named Ella and a cousins daughter named Eleanor, it would totally be a front runner for me as a first name!  Have to veer away though, unfortunately!  We obviously love our Grandma VERY Much which is why everyone wants to name their daughters after her!  :o)

    If fetus is a girl our name is Ashley Jane so I support his choice :) 

    I think either of your MN's sound good. I'd go with Louise just because Eleanor and it's nn's are so popular.

    Had my name not been swiped (totally kidding, not upset at all), I probably would've duplicated this name exactly and called her Ellie.  I call my Grandma Ellie so it would've been super cute!  But I get to call my niece Ellie, so it's better than nothing!

    If I have a girl she will be Louise Annabel so that's my vote, Ashley Louise!

    I tried to get DH to like Annabelle, but to no avail!  But I love your name choice, just lovely!  I'm leaning more towards Ashley Louise as well, I feel like Ashley Eleanor kinda gets garbled and doesn't roll as well.
