Charlotte has taken to hopping. I think she is the hipster of babies, because she quickly decides that whatever other babies are doing, she needs to do something more alternative.
She's all, "Walking? I guess that was fine last month. I'm more into hopping now. You probably haven't heard of it. It's kind of underground."
DS started walking about 3 weeks ago, just after his first birthday. Since he was a premie and all milestones are measured against his corrected age and not bid chronological age, he started walking at 11 months 1 week corrected age.
Ladies... I would give my left leg to have one day of DD sitting still. She started walking in mid June and hasn't crawled since. I seriously spend all day chasing her everywhere and wish we could go back to crawling. It was fun and games for about 2 days and then I wanted my crawler back.

She took her first steps at 11 months & really started walking all the time about a week before her birthday. I'm with @cedenton and @ajm11, I like having a walker so much better!
Negative ghost rider. He's cruising on furniture, walking while holding our hands, but the second we let go he goes down. He goes down slowly mind you! lol! He has stood alone a few times. And I have barely held on to him and he might as well be walking alone, but he won't. He's a scaredy cat, lol.. That's fine by me.

Having two babies seems to leave me always being the special snowflake. I have one walker and one non-walker. DD has been taking steps independently for about 2 weeks and although DS desperately wants to he's not there yet. He will practically run laps around the house with a push toy but he doesn't have the balance to walk on his own just yet.

This is exactly us. Little scaredy pants over here.
DS started walking last week. He will be one on the 23rd. He didn't start crawling until he was over 10 months so I was really surprised when he started to walk about a month later. I figured he would be in the well over a year club since crawling came so late.
I love it though. He is a peanut and people always think he is closer to 8 months old than a year so we do get some "wtf how is that baby already walking" looks and comments. Haha, I have to tell a lot of people he is older than he looks and well within the normal beginner walker stage and not crazy advance but maybe I should just start telling people he is 8 months old just to see reactions!
Yes, pretty much! He walks down the hallway now and across the living room. Still falls, but he is walking pretty well. He still doesn't know how to stand up from sitting, only done it a couple times.
DD has been walking for a good 3 weeks now. She started taking independent steps at 10.5 months but it was only when she was walking towards DH and I. She was a scaredy cat for a good month, only taking steps when she knew someone was there to catch her if she fell. Now she is all over. I love having a walker. She seems to pick up less things on the ground like she did when she was crawling.
Walking and practically galloping when excited. He still falls if he steps on objects that render the floor uneven. But he climbs off couches and the bed... such a busy body and somehow I wish he wasn't so mobile. That sounds horrible...

This is Jacqueline. She will stand unsupported, walk with our hands, cruise while holding onto the furniture, but no solo steps.

Rosie will literally snatch something away from James and run. She turns around, looking at him like, " Yeah, uh huh. What!?"
James stares down, all confused, looking at his feet inquisitive like, " How do I make these things work?"
