Faux pas- let it go?

MIL had a friend visiting from OOT over the weekend. She thanked me for my sweet thank you note I sent for the gift she sent DD. I of course had no recollection of what she had sent so I just said something about appreciating her thinking of us. I also mentioned how sweet it was of everyone who sent gifts for DD to include something for DS. Of course this morning I finally remembered what she had sent and of course her gift had NOT included something for,DS. Now I'm hoping she didn't take it as a dig as in "gee, thanks for not getting DS anything. Everyone else did." Let it go or say something?
