i started teaching "milk", "More" and "All done/finished" at like 5 months. i knew she wouldnt' get them all for a while but we were letting her be familiar with them. she got "milk" by 6 months. the rest not so much.

yesterday, after all the other kiddies left, i was sitting on the couch eating some popcorn. i gave her a small piece to try. she gobbled it down, looked at me and very distinctly signed "More"! super happy she now has one more tool in her toolbox :-)

lol, thanks. she also decided that Sippies may be ok after watching everyone drinking out of them yesterday. still doesn't like them much, but at least made a brief attempt for DH when i was gone. i'm so ready for cups she cant spill (dh gave her the bottle this afternoon and didn't see her drop a whole ounce on the floor).

i know, she'll do a sippie when she's ready and not before... still so ready for her to join the sippy club.

That's awesome!! DS does more and all done. He has mastered all done and more is pretty random still but it's so nice for him to be able to tell me what he needs.

yep, i like that she's starting to get it. we do momma and papa some too, but as she says those sporadicly i don't really see a point. i think we're going to work on "it hurts", "help me" and "diaper" next.

This is pretty much us as well... Anything meal related, "eat, more, and all finished." It makes for better mealtime all together - avoids the screeching when he realizes we understands what he wants.
