I am a kindergarten teacher & return to work Monday. I have two questions for teachers:
1. If a parent/coworker asks if you are pregnant before you are ready to announce, what do you plan on saying? I really don't want to lie, but I'm not ready to announce either.
2. Morning sickness has finaly hit me hard. My classroom has no bathrooms and does not adjoin to other classrooms. What should I do if I get sick? I am not supposed to leave the kids alone in the classroom for obvious reasons , but I don't want to get sick in front of them, especially since it will increase my parents suspicions/questions?
Thank you for your input. I am so excited to be pregnant, but am terrified to mix school with the first tri. symptoms.

Re: Teachers :)
Have a great school year too!
I didn't think to have crackers, mints, etc. in my classroom. Thanks for the tip.
As far as parents asking about pregnancy, why would they? Most likely you won't be showing that much (and if you are, wear loose clothes) but it's very rude to ask someone if they are pregnant. So it they ask something that rude, I wouldn't feel bad about lying. But I doubt most people will notice.

I have had more of my coworkers and K students ask me if I'm pregnant than the parents. I just carried my weight in my stomach. That'll be good for this year since I just got my BFP - I can keep up the 'just fat' thing for awhile.
