First IUI cycle! Any advice?

Had an ultrasound today. They said that my ovaries look great! No cysts! Im happy. Starting Clomid 100mg tomorrow days 3-7. No medication on the 8th day. Then follistim on the 9th day. I get another ultrasound done and blood work on the 12th day. If all is well I inject Ovidrel that night. The next two days I will have the IUI's done. Then one week after the Ovidrel injection I get my progestrone blood test. Im trying not to get excited but I cant help it. Any advice ladies?

    Good luck!! As far as the IUIs- you might feel a little cramping during the procedure but its quick! Have you been on Clomid before? I had no side effects until after ovulation which I wasn't expecting but that wasn't too bad for me either.
    I hope it goes well!
    Me 36/DH 46 Me: Low AMH (.21) DOR, mild endo; Started seeing RE 11/12
    Jan-March '13 3 IUIs Clomid + Trigger = BFN
    April '13 IVF 1 MDLF converted to 4th IUI due to 3 runaway follicles! BFN
    July/Aug '13 IVF 1.2 Long Lupron = 7R, 6F, 2T= BFP!!!
    Beta 1=512, Beta 2=1,368 Beta 3= 4,128
    It's a boy!!!!

    GL! I had a little cramping and feeling of fullness after both IUIs, but that was it. The 2ww is the WORST part! Hope all goes perfectly!

    It is exciting but take it easy..relax and try to keep yourself occupied during the 2ww..I agree its the worst part!

    Thanks gals I am going to try to relax. I went in for a follie scan today. They werent ready. One was 14.9 the other 13. They told me to come back on Tuesday.

    September 2012: Start IF testing

    DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA  Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA

    October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos

    November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues.  Converted to freeze all due to lining issues.  2 blasts frozen on day 6!

    January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues

    April 2015: FET #2.1

    I felt a little sick after the Ovidrel and definitely had cramping after the IUI both times. Nothing too bad, just take it easy and GL!

    Hoping tomorrows follie scan will be better. My estradiol level from  Sunday was 24 and that was CD 12. I just feel so down. That level is so low. The nurse told me if they dont see it higher they will probably cancel the IUI. :-(

    Three ectopic preganacies in left tube in 1999, 2003 and 2004. HSG in 2010 concluded left tube blockage. IUI with femara in 2012 BFN. IVF #1 June 2013, 20 retreived, 14 mature, 12 fertilized via ICSI, one transferred, four frozen, BFN.  FET in September 2013 - BFN:( FET #2 April 2014 - BFP!!!!

    ***** BFP Warning******

    I had my first IUI with Clomid last month.  Got my BFP on the first try! I am now 5 wks 3 days pregnant with Twins (shocked!!)

    I did every little trick in the book i read about with my IUI.

    Hubby and I had BD 2 days before Trigger
    I brought something very relaxing (ipad) with me to the office to help relax
    I (TMI) created my own orgasm after the IUI's (they say within 45 min of IUI)
    I ate 1 pineapple with the core (cut into 5 slices) over 5 days

    I am not sure if any of these did the trick but it worked!!
    Married 10/29/2005
    TTC 2 years and BFP! High risk pregnancy - high BP, Gestational diabetes on insulin, 4 blood clotting problems on lovenox 2x a day TTC again 3 years - BFP 3/2013. Lost baby 4/2014
    Referred to RE by high risk DR - diagnosis unexplained female infertility and 2% morphology male infertility.
    Clomid/ovadril Without IUI - BFN 5/2013
    Clomid/ovadril Without  IUI - BFN 6/2013
    Clomid/ovadril With IUI -  7/31/2013 and 8/1/2012 BFP WITH TWINS!  Vanishing twin @ 7wks

    EDD with surviving twin 4/25/2014!

    Wow syoung0413!!! Congrats!! Thanks for the info on the tricks! My doc said i wasnt responding to the medication so he put me back on Clomid 100 mg for 5 more days. I have a follie scan Sept 5th.

    One big follie at 24.5 and two little ones at 15.8 and 15.5. Estrodial is 345. I was told to trigger tonight! I have my IUI scheduled for tomorrow at 8:30 and Saturday at 8:30. I am sooooo thrilled!!!!

    Just had my iui done on Friday for the first time, I did not feel anything. Later that day I had some cramps. Now I am on progesterone suppositories. The doctor told me to wait two weeks and then take a pregnancy test. My advise is just relax and have a lot of faith :).

    Thanks! I had two IUIs this cycle. The first time I didnt feel a thing. The second time I did!! My cervix was not happy!! I had a lot of cramping.
