Let's talk ear tubes

E is on her third double ear infection in 3 months...my friend asked if she was going to get tubes, which I've never discussed with the pedi, so I don't know. What was your LO like before tubes? What was the procedure/recovery like? Does your LO get sick anymore?

    Ds is a totally different child - in a good way. He was losing hearing and speech from ear issues. It doesn't solve all ear infections just reduces them

    Your pediatrician would refer you to an ENT or/and then an audiologist, depending on your pediatrician's preference. I'd ask about it at your next appointment.
