Hard poop

DS Has been having trouble pooping for the last two days. They are very hard little pebble looking poops and no bigger than the size of a mickle in diameter. He is only going about once a day And it seems to hurt him when he's pushing them out. any suggestions?

    We had this and stopped giving him puffs and incorporated prunes or pears once a day. I also gave him water through the sippy or bottle before he figured out the sippy. He had issues for about a week and now he's fine.
