Anyone else embarrassed by their 4/20 due date?

Is it just me? Am I immature (probably) we've only told my two best friends...both their husbands snickered about it.

Chances are you won't deliver on that date. It's my due date, I don't think it's a big deal. You can refer to it as an Easter baby since that is when Easter falls...if you celebrate the holiday.

I'm not in panic about it. I can just see it getting old if people make comments when we start telling everyone in a few weeks. I went 10 days early with DD, so maybe it'll happen again

My EDD is either 4/19 or 4/20, depending on where I check (subject to change after my first US. I'm not concerned either way. DS was actually born 3 days early, so I'm kind of hoping this LO follows that pattern!

I don't have an official due date, but I'm hoping I don't get that one (its somewhere right around there). I plan on just saying "the end of April" anyway. My last baby was 9 days late and I felt like the whole world was staring at me while they waited.

It's my parents anniversary. They chose it, an edd just happens to fall there. And really, just tell people the 19th or 21st. Due dates aren't a science.

I am sure the jokes will get old, but, chances are, you won't deliver on that day. DD's EDD was Leap Year and inquiries about that got old fast.

Adolf Hitlers birthday and the Columbine school shooting were both April 20. I assume that's what the OP is referring to.

I would just say my due date is 4/21. :-)

Odd aside: I quit smoking (cigarettes) on 4/20. Didn't purposefully choose that date, but find irony in it. Lol over 2 yrs smoke free!

@ooopsbaby14 I was thinking about that as well. Tons of awful National tragedies have happened in April, but I figure the births of all these babies are just joyous moments to replace sigmas of bad ones....

I would say April 20th and not 4-20. But I would also say April 7th and not 4-7... Don't fret!
