What weight/length did LO fit BG 4.0?

I know BG says they fit as small as 8lb but wondering what real life moms have found works. My LO is 12lb 3 oz and 24in so long and lean at 2 months old. Tried a BG 4.0 today but it still seems wide in the crotch area.

When did you start putting LO in BG 4.0s? Thanks!

    I started when LO was 4 weeks old and about 10lbs.  I don't know how long he was at the time though.  

    At 2 months he was 23.25" and 12lb 5oz, so a very similar size to your LO, and I think the BG 4.0s are doing really well!

    We started CD'ing at 6 weeks.  4.0s fit great at that point.  He was around 11 pounds and 24".  Really with BGs the big issue is usually the legs.  So if your LO has skinny legs it might take longer for them to fit.

    They started fitting around 3 months, 11 lbs, and 25".

    They started fitting DD around 8 weeks (we tried earlier but had pee leaks out the leg holes).  At that point, she was just over 12lbs, and just over 22" long.

    Probably 4 weeks at 9lbs. My lo has very chubby legs!

    Around 6 weeks and our guy was probably 10-11 pounds and 24-25 inches long, but I'm just guessing on weight and length because we have our next appt in a few weeks. Our guy is long and skinny.

    We got our 4.0s when DD was around 11 lbs. she was in newborn cloth before that so I don't know if they would have fit sooner... Probably would have since we've been using a Blueberry one size pocket overnight since age was around 9 lbs

    Thanks ladies! We were using NB alva pockets before this but I'm itching to use my BGs because I like them so much better. I'll give the. A few test runs at home to make sure they fit without leaks and hopefully I can convert over to them permanently!

    My BG pockets started fitting the same time as the NB Alvas did (without twisting the tabs). I bet they'll fit your LO now.
