WTAF H? (vent)

H is helping move his grandma into a new nursing home and it's the same one as his other grandma is in, so I decided to visit her with DS. She left to check on progress so I'm alone with a sleeping baby that I need to keep asleep. H comes knocking on the door and it's a FOB lock so he's asking me to open it. I tell him DS is sleeping, if I move he'll wake up, so I can't get the door and to just get the fob from his mom or grandma (they're literally down the hall). He keeps saying to open the door and he doesn't wanna go down there so whatever, I get up and let him in. He brought lunch, which I'm thankful I'm for, but DS woke up and starts crying. It's a subway sandwich and I can't eat that stuff with one hand. I was annoyed and H just leaves. Thanks H for leaving so I can't eat. Luckily his grandma came back and offered.to hold him so I can eat. I'm waiting on how this is gonna be my fault that he's mad.

    I can understand resenting being forced to wake up a sleeping baby, but this doesn't sound like a huge deal or that your H was knowingly being a douche. He was probably just busy and distracted. He probably couldn't hear you very well through the door either.

    Eh, stuff like this happens. I agree that it doesn't sound like your DH was purposely trying to upset you.

    How old is DS?
    He's 6 weeks...he's been fighting sleep lately so it takes a bit to calm him. And I was meaning that DH is mad.

    He did hear me through the door but not the fob part. He did apologize but that's just one thing that really gets to me when someone just walks out so I understand it's NBD for some.
