1st Trimester

"morning" sickness questions

Did any of you have really bad morning sickness, and then you would have a full week where you felt wonderful? I guess stupidly I thought the worst of mine was over, but today I am feeling like complete crap :( I still have not had any vomiting, but just feel sick all day. I will be 8 weeks next week.

Re: "morning" sickness questions

  • Mine came and vent significantly through the first tri, then was gone the entire second... To return subtly in the third. With both kids. If you get any relief from it though, I think you'll actually feel great around 15-16 weeks latest:))

  • I had terrible sickness for about 5 1/2 weeks straight, I got it under control with zofran but usually I would wait until I needed it to take it because I didn't want to needlessly take anything. I did have some good days, sometimes two or three at a time.. But then I would go right back into the bad days. I think it's normal and pretty common. I'm a little over 11 1/2 weeks right now and yesterday I didn't have to take anything, so with any luck it's tapering off!

  • I'm almost 12 weeks and started my pregnancy with hyperemesis for a solid 6 weeks. Now I have 24/7 mild to moderate nausea mixed in with one or two wonderful days a week with no symptoms. Still taking Zofran 2 or 3 times a day mostly out of fear. Can't tell if Im better or if Zofran is the reason Im not vomiting! I think it may be normal to have peaks and valleys nearing the second trimester but I'm not certain. You may have a ways to go yet.
