    My mom and MIL make awesome yellow cakes with chocolate frosting. Growing up both H and I had them on our birthdays. If its store bought cake I love Costco cake!

    I dislike most chocolate cakes.

    Of the garden variety cakes, I love chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. I have about 30 recipes I like for both and like to change it up.

    My favorite wedding cake is black and white cake: chocolate and white cake in four alternating layers and white chocolate and milk chocolate mousse in between with raspberries.

    I don't like canned frosting or "bettercream". That's my only qualm with cake.

    All!! I haven't meet one I don't like lol. Chocolate is my fave, followed by caramel, or german chocolate :-)

    I haven't really met too many cakes I didn't like. Red velvet, german chocolate, chocolate with buttercream, marble, even bundt cake; I like them all.

    I love chocolate cake. My favorite is the Hershey's classic one. Yum. I also love carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. But the cake can't have nuts in it. That ruins it for me. I love a red velvet too with more like a cream cheese glaze rather than frosting. I'm drooling a bit over here. :P

    I do like walnuts. They're ok in the cake but I agree that raisins have no business being in there!

    I, too, hate the word moist. I'm not one of those people who is skeeved out by mayonnaise, so that doesn't really gross me out.

    This is too difficult a question, I love cake and it depends on the season or weather what my favourite is. If I had to choose right now for a cool summer rainy day, I pick chocolate pumpkin with hazelnut buttercream (a more whipped cream lighter version). Or White cake with a light whipped chocolate pudding frosting.

    I love most cake. Nuts aren't a total deal breaker but I prefer cake (and everything else) without them. I guess carrot cake is my least favorite but I would probably still eat it.

    Love red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Our wedding cake was some sort of vanilla/yellow with chocolate chips and a layer of chocolate filling it was delicious!

    I also love marble cake, especially with mocha buttercream that we served at our wedding.

    My grandma used to make an open faced plum cake that served with whipped cream was to die for.
