Clomid and Mucinex question

So I'm on my 3rd day of Clomid 100mg. Just curious if anyone had s/e and if so what were they and when did you begin noticing them? I'm also on 600mg of Mucinex for CM. When can you begin to tell if it helped or not?

DH-26- no issues

Me-27- PCOS

Dec.2011- 50mg Clomid + Ovidrel +TI=BFP w/twins- m/c @6wks

Aug.2013- 100mg Clomid+ Pregnyl +TI=???

    I was told not to use mucinex by a nurse at mr RE. But I don't think she knew what she was talking about. I instead use preseed. I will ask my doctor again. I was on 50mg clomid and had terrible dryness.

    My SE from Clomid were headaches and crazy hot flashes. I mostly noticed it towards the end of my course of Clomid and afterwards. 

    ** After  2 1/2 years of Unexplained IF, 2 failed medicated cycles, and 4 failed IUI's - our baby girl came to us through the miracle of     Mini IVF! **

    Thanks ladies! Talon- yes my RE told me Mucinex but the one without any letters after it apparently helps with CM since Clomid tends to dry you out. He told me 600mg a day. Asantusa- I have preseed also and will be using that as well!

    when I was still seeing my OB/Gyn and taking just Clomid, she also recommended mucinex (the plain blue box, no letters after it), since Clomid can thicken your CM.  I haven't taken mucinex since I started my IUIs, and haven't asked my RE about it.  But, for IUIs, I don't think CM plays much part, since the sperm won't have as far to swim!

    TTC since July 2011
     
    Me(33): normal HSG; diagnosed with mild PCOS

    DH(35): normal SA
     
    *6 cycles no meds, July-Dec. 2011, all BFN
     
    *Clomid for 3 cycles, Jan-March 2011: BFP March 2011
     
    *MC at 6 weeks

    *2 cycles off
     
    *Started TTC again July 2012 with Clomid, 6 cycles from July-Dec. 2012, all BFN
     
    *1 cycle no meds: BFN
     
    *1 cycle Femara: BFN
     
    *1st RE visit March 2013 - first IUI in April 2013 with Femara, Menopur, and Novarel (BFN); second IUI in May 2013, same protocol (BFN); two cycle break;  third IUI in August 2013, same protocol (BFN)

    *1st IVF cycle, October 2013 (Synarel, Menopur (75 iu), and Gonal-F (150 iu)) -- BFP!!  Saw two babies at our 5wk5d u/s on Oct. 28th!  EDD=June 25, 2014
