I want to punch him...

It is now 10:15 on Saturday. I've been up with the baby since 7:15. My darling husband is still passed out in bed. I want to throat punch him....

  • Well then yes, you need to punch him.  Or yell at him.  Because my husband rarely wakes up early on his own (he's just not a morning person), but the second I tell him I need his help, he's up.  He should have to be on evening duty (that's how we often break things up, because I love getting up early and he hates it).

  • My husband worked nights last night and he still got out of bed to spend time with us.

    Go punch him. :)
  • Punch him, leave the baby next to him and leave.

  • I hear ya! DH got home from fishing last night at midnight. I was still up when he got home because I didn't want the dogs to start barking in the bedroom when they heard him come in. He was asleep before I was and then I was up three times at night with LO - once for a feeding and twice just to stick her pacifier back in her mouth. I had to get up at 7 for work - pumped, showered, got dressed...he's still sleeping and LO is starting to stir. I woke him up and handed him a bottle and he says, "Oh, she slept through the night last night, huh?" I had to laugh or else I would've punched him.

  • I send the kids up to wake up my DH. They won't give up until he's out of bed. ;-)

  • My DH had a fantasy football draft last night. So when he was supposed to be home at 7 I had already been up with DS for 1.5 hours. When he strolled in the door hung over around 8 complaining of being tired and a headache, I almost kicked him right back out the door. @Jillibean68, that is hilarious!

  • Punch him, leave the baby next to him and leave.
    Yes, this!
