Reminiscing...

Can you gals believe that just a few months ago we were all counting down the days and minutes to when we might go into labor. Eating spicy things, walking, wishing, and praying to go into labor. Fretting about labor, imagining how it would be. Worrying about motherhood and if we would be good moms or how life would be. What our little ones would look like.

And now we have our babies here with us! We made it through labor! We are all healing and getting back to normal, slowly but surely. We are semi professional moms!

It's been one heck of a year. This time last year I was finding out I was preggers. August 17th,2012. And I got hit with the worst morning sickness. I was in bed throwing up all day everyday for 3 months. Like I had horrible stomach flu. Ugh. But here I am! And it was worth it. And anxiously awaiting being able to do it all again.

Moms are heroes. You ladies are awesome. You did it! And we just gotta take it a day at a time. We are moms! And that's spectacular!

    I was looking through photos on my phone the other day and found some from when we first brought her home... Brought tears to my eyes. She is growing so fast. I will admit, I was terrified when I found out I was pregnant. I had no idea how I would be able to handle labour or being a mom. Now I wonder what the heck I was so afraid of (well, except labour lol). I love being a mom and I love my DD so much!! I don't know how we ever lived without her in our life.

    Aww I am all teary eyed now! It's so cool how much your life can change over a year! I honestly don't know how I lived without her, I have had a spectacular life pre-baby, but this is a whole new level of spectacular!!

    I also found out I was pregnant on August 17th! It's been one heck of a year. I'm so happy to have my wonderful baby in my life and I can't imagine life without him. I still fret about being a good mom and managing working plus motherhood, but it will all work out. Thank you for the great message!

    As much as these past 3.5 months have changed my life for the better, I do truly miss being pregnant. The excitement, the anticipation, etc. just a different kind of excitement these days :D
